Songs on the Ground 5 — Wan Chai

For the third time, the Songs on the Ground music project lands in Wan Chai. Under the theme "Wan Chai, Day and Night", it writes songs for ten lives in the district: five groups of emerging musicians, recruited through an open call, turned community stories big and small into ten songs. The programme spans workshops, songwriting and recording, music video shoots, a community tour and a closing concert. After nearly a year of creative work, the ten original songs about local lives premiered at the closing concert at HarbourChill in Wan Chai, where the participants and singers led the audience from day into night through the stories of ten neighbours.
